Just switched to Cricket and got the Moto e5 Cruise that was free with a port in number. If you decide to follow the steps and then remove your SIM into another phone, you'll have to repeat it again for it to work. I hope this info helps someone! You are probably looking at around 30 minutes of time to get VoLTE working with the steps above. You will have to change the internet proxy on your computer to get it to work, but it works flawlessly and will be undetected.however, using 200 gigs a month will not. Instead of creating a hotspot, it shares your phone data through WiFi Sharing. For me, there is an app called NetShare in the google play store. As someone mentioned, PDANet/FoxFi may work, but I've read that Cricket can tell you are using a hotspot and have seen stories about accounts getting closed. Since I flashed the Cricket firmware, mine does not. If you are on an unlocked carrier free firmware, hotspot may work without issue. For my S7, it may work with the U firmware, but the Cricket firmware has very little to no bloatware and voicemail works out of the box. I did two phones at once, but you probably should have a separate phone for each and one that you aren't going to use anything soon. SIM swapping only got me about an hour or two of use.
